Window Cleaning & Pressure Washing Review Request Templates

The short answer

Ask for a review the moment the customer sees the before-and-after — sparkling windows, a driveway that went from grey to bright, a roof or house wash that looks brand new. Exterior cleaning is one of the most visually satisfying trades, and that instant “wow” is a strong review-generating asset. Ask while the customer is still standing there admiring it.

Because the result is so visual, a handful of great photos plus reviews is what wins the next job. These templates help you capture the review half, in your voice, at the right second.

When to ask (the natural moments)

  • Right at job completion, during the walk-around, when the contrast is most striking.
  • Same evening by text, if you couldn’t ask on-site (“hope you’re loving the clean windows”).
  • After a recurring window-cleaning visit for commercial or repeat residential clients.
  • After a big one-off — roof wash, house wash, driveway/patio, solar-panel cleaning.

Text message templates

You send each request yourself from Laudvi’s Quick Send, with the customer’s consent; it follows up once automatically if there’s no reply.

Email templates

1. One-off residential job — Subject: Hope the [windows/driveway] look great

“Hi [First Name], it was a pleasure cleaning up your [windows/driveway/house] today. A short Google review about the result helps other homeowners in [Area] find us: [Review Link]. Thanks for the business! — [Owner], [Business]”

2. Commercial / recurring — Subject: Quick favor from [Business]

“Hi [First Name], we appreciate your ongoing business. We’d be grateful for a quick Google review about your experience with our exterior cleaning: [Review Link].”

What not to do

  • Don’t ask only the jobs that went perfectly. Google prohibits review gating — ask every customer.
  • Don’t offer a discount on the next wash for a review — incentivized reviews violate policy.
  • Don’t rely on photos alone — pair the photo you took with a review request; the two together close the next customer.

How many reviews does a window cleaning or pressure washing company need?

No universal number — it’s how you compare with similar exterior-cleaning companies in your area. See how many Google reviews a window cleaning or pressure washing company needs, or see how pressure washing and window cleaning companies compare locally.

Make the review path easy, too: add a Google review QR code to your invoice or leave-behind card.
