SMS Consent

Laudvi enables participating local businesses to send service follow-up, customer feedback, and review-request SMS messages to customers who have consented to receive them.

SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

Verbal SMS Consent

When a participating business collects SMS consent verbally, the business should use the following consent language before enrolling the customer in SMS messaging:

“Would you like to receive text messages from [business name] related to your service experience, including service follow-up, feedback, and review requests? Review-request messaging generally consists of one initial message and no more than one follow-up reminder per service interaction. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for help.”

The customer must verbally agree before the participating business records SMS consent and the customer's phone number becomes eligible for SMS messaging through Laudvi.

What Customers Can Expect

Customers who provide SMS consent may receive messages related to their service experience, including:

  • Customer feedback requests
  • Public review requests
  • Follow-up reminders related to a service interaction

Message frequency varies based on customer service interactions. Review-request messaging generally consists of one initial message and no more than one follow-up reminder per service interaction.

Opting Out

Customers may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.

After opting out, the customer will no longer receive messages from that messaging program unless the customer subsequently provides consent again.

For assistance, reply HELP or contact hello@laudvi.com.

Message and data rates may apply depending on the customer's mobile carrier and plan.
