Why Laudvi exists
Most local businesses earn plenty of goodwill. The hard part is turning it into something that shows up online. Asking every customer for a review, following up with the ones who forget, catching an unhappy customer before they go public, keeping an eye on how you compare — each step is simple on its own, and each one quietly falls through the cracks on a busy week.
Owners don't need another dashboard full of charts and to-dos. They need the reputation work to actually happen. That's the problem Laudvi is built to solve.
How we think about reputation management
There's a difference between software you have to operate and software that operates for you. Most reputation tools are the first kind: one more login, one more place to check, one more set of tasks waiting on the owner. Laudvi is built to be the second kind.
The direction of the product is to handle more of the repeatable reputation workflow — sending the request, following up, collecting feedback, watching for what changed — and to bring in the owner only when something genuinely needs a person: a customer to call back, a service problem to make right, a judgment that's theirs to make.
We're straight about where that stands today. You tell Laudvi about a finished job, and it takes the review request and the follow-up from there — by email — while giving an unhappy customer a private line straight to you. Laudvi runs the parts it can and asks for you only when it should. It doesn't pretend to run your field operations or make the calls that belong to you.
Who Laudvi is for
Laudvi is for local businesses. Right now, we're focused on owner-operated local service businesses — the kind where the person who does the work also answers the phone and closes up at night. That includes businesses like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and water treatment, among others.
That's where we're starting, not where we stop. Laudvi is built for local businesses broadly, and the product grows outward from there.
