House Cleaning Google Review Request Templates

The short answer

Ask for a review after the first deep clean, or after a few reliable recurring visits — the two moments a cleaning customer feels it most. House cleaning is built on trust: you’re inside someone’s home, often when they’re not there, handling their belongings. Reviews are how a stranger decides they can give you a key. That makes your Google profile one of your most important marketing assets.

Most cleaning companies do great work and ask for reviews haphazardly. A simple, consistent, owner-sent ask is a genuine edge in a crowded local market.

When to ask (the natural moments)

  • After the first deep clean, when the home looks and smells transformed.
  • After the 3rd–4th recurring visit, once “they’re reliable and I trust them” is established.
  • After a move-in / move-out or post-renovation clean — a big, memorable result.

Use these moments for every client, not just the ones who already told you they loved the clean.

Text message templates

You send each request yourself from Laudvi’s Quick Send, with the client’s consent to receive texts; it follows up once automatically if there’s no reply.

1. After the first deep clean

2. After reliable recurring visits

“Hi [First Name], it’s a privilege to keep your home clean each visit. A short Google review about your experience helps other families in [Area] find a cleaner they can trust with their home: [Review Link]. Thank you for having us. — [Owner], [Business]”

2. One-time / deep clean

Email — Subject: Hope your home feels great

“Hi [First Name], it was a pleasure getting your home deep-cleaned. We’d really appreciate a quick Google review about the result: [Review Link].”

What not to do

  • Don’t ask only your favorite clients. Google prohibits review gating; Laudvi makes it easy to ask every client the same way.
  • Don’t offer a free clean or discount for a review— that’s an incentivized review and against policy.
  • Don’t have cleaners ask awkwardly in person — a short, owner-sent text afterward is more comfortable for the client.

Make the review path easy, too: leave a Google review QR code on a thank-you card.

How many reviews does a house cleaning company need?

There’s no universal number — what matters is how you compare with similar cleaning companies in your area. See how many Google reviews a house cleaning company needs, or see how house cleaning companies compare locally.

FAQ

Text or email?
Text for quick asks after a visit; email for recurring clients. Laudvi supports both, owner-initiated, with one automatic follow-up.
